Come help us celebrate the Buffalo National River on Friday, October 23rd!
Conservation groups have joined forces as the Buffalo River Coalition to raise funds to preserve and protect the river and its watershed. The Arkansas Canoe Club, Buffalo River Watershed Alliance, the Ozark Society, and the National Parks Conservation Association are hosing a fund-raising event:
Friday, October 23, 2015, 5 pm – 9:30 pm, at the Fayetteville Town Center, 15 West Mountain Street, Fayetteville, AR.
The event will showcase the natural amenities of the river and its opportunities for outdoor recreation. It will feature a three-course dinner prepared by Greenhouse Grille, live music by Bill Dollar and Loose Change, local beer, wine and cider, and a silent auction. The program will honor pioneers in the Buffalo National River movement, with special recognition for Ken Smith and his lifelong work helping to establish our nation’s first National River.
