Join Us TOMORROW (9/2) To Tell the Governor to Put Families' Health Above Politics

Dear Friend,

You and thousands of other Arkansans have joined our petition calling for the Governor to stop stripping people’s access to health care until DHS can reform the process, making it more effective and fair to Arkansas families.  NOW HELP US DELIVER IT! (

Please join us tomorrow, Wednesday, at noon in the Old Supreme Court Room of the Arkansas State Capitol ( to rally for the 50,000 lives hanging in the balance after their healthcare was unfairly cut.

The Governor changed the process last week to 30 days for others who still haven't been processed, but he's refusing to go back and reinstate the people who've already lost coverage. This double standard leaves people  without access to health care while they wait for DHS to consider reinstating them. This process can take weeks, or even months.

Tomorrow some of the victims of these bad policy choices are standing up to share their stories so other's won't have to go through the same terrible situation. We need your help to send the message!

Arkansas should not toy with people's access to healthcare. We need a FAIR and EFFECTIVE process for verifying income and renewing people's healthcare

We will deliver the petition following the event. We'll see you at the Old Supreme Courtroom on the second floor of the Arkansas Capitol at noon!
